Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms are intentionally short and fair. By using Toolskia, you agree to them. In plain English: our tools are free, provided as-is to help you, and you use the results at your own discretion.
1. Use of the tools
You may use Toolskia’s tools for personal and commercial purposes, free of charge, without creating an account. You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or use it for anything unlawful.
2. No professional advice
Our calculators, converters and generators are provided for general information and estimation only. They are not financial, investment, legal, medical, tax or other professional advice. For decisions with real consequences, confirm the result with a qualified professional or an authoritative source. For craft and measurement tools, your own swatch or measurement is always the final word.
3. Accuracy and “as is”
We build and test our tools carefully, but we provide them “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that a tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolskia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the tools or their results.
4. Privacy
Our tools run in your browser and do not upload what you enter. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on cookies, advertising and data.
5. Advertising and third parties
Toolskia is free and may be supported by advertising. Ads and any third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites you reach through links or ads.
6. Intellectual property
The Toolskia name, design, original written content and tool code are ours. You’re welcome to use the tools and share links to them; please don’t copy the site wholesale or pass our content off as your own.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows or as laws change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
